A lot has happened regarding the music video of “Don’t wake me up (before I fall)”. We were lucky to catch the renowned music video director Pete Welling and get a day from his busy schedule. This is exciting. We decided to really push our best for our first songs, so we started to plan some visual content. When the first 2 songs go out, there will be a music video and a lyrics video along with photos to our website and other platforms. There is really much to do so…

Wow, this was a long and thorough process. A lot of time was spent on research of words and their meanings. How to come up with a band name that is unique, not too long, exciting and represents what we are trying to do? That was challenging but in the end we did something that…

That’s it. Vocal recordings done for our first 2 songs. Only a few more things to do, like deciding the publishing platforms, Facebook, Youtube, website, promotion, band pictures, videos, mixing, mastering and fixing here and there. No big deal, easy ;D.

What a fun day again and some quality melody achieved. 7 hours starts to be our standard vocal recording time for one song. When the aim is high, things get really hard to reach. But now we really start to believe in ourselves and what is possible.

7 hours and 150 vocal clips (deleted clips not included!) later we were happy and tired. Especially Essy who did a fantastic job. We have decided to aim for perfection, or at least for something we can be happy with :D. The recording took place in Kimmo’s home studio, that’s officially now Unén studio ;D….

We did some final adjustments to the melody and lyrics and were quite happy with the result. Maybe there are a few minor tweaks to be done here and there, but the melody is solid now. We are ready for the final recording.

Dear Stranger started to take shape to its final form. The rest of the day was spent on more experimentation of different song templates. Everything sounds promising so far, but Dear Stranger at this point seems our top pick.
